MicroStation CAD Technician
Description:
Hayduk Engineering, LLC is seeking an experienced MicroStation CAD Technician to support transportation, highway, drainage, and civil engineering projects throughout New York State. The successful candidate will prepare and revise engineering plans using MicroStation and OpenRoads Designer, develop roadway, drainage, utility, and traffic control plan sheets, and produce construction details, quantity calculations, and contract plan packages. Responsibilities also include maintaining drafting standards and quality control procedures while coordinating with engineers and project managers throughout project development.
We are seeking a motivated team player with strong organizational and communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a collaborative environment. Candidates should have experience with transportation-related projects and familiarity with MTA, NYSDOT, and/or NYSTA design standards and procedures. Proficiency with MicroStation and OpenRoads Designer is preferred.
Required Education:
Associate Degree, Technical Certificate, or equivalent experience.
Required Experience:
Technical Certificate or 4+ years of transportation drafting experience preferred. Experience with transportation, highway, bridge, drainage, or site development projects is desirable.
Required Licenses or Certifications:
None required. Proficiency with MicroStation and/or OpenRoads Designer preferred. Experience with MTA, NYSDOT, and/or NYSTA standards is a plus.
Salary Range:
$74,000 – $110,000
