All American Assisted Living Facility

All American Assisted Living is a 112-bed facility located on NYS Route 25 Middle Country Road in Coram, NY. The client, Kaplan Development Group, is a Massachusetts based developer that specializes in the development and operation of high quality assisted living facilities throughout the northeastern United States. This assisted living facility site features a 2 story 56,078 SF GFA building on a 3.65 acre lot.

Hayduk Engineering was responsible for civil/site plan engineering and wastewater engineering on the project. Our civil/site plan engineering services included site alignment, grading and drainage system design, site lighting, road and parking lot design (utilizing AutoTURN simulation software to ensure proper access for trucks), erosion and sediment control design, water service and RPZ design, NOI and SWPPP preparation, Highway Work Permit, and coordination with a traffic engineer subconsultant for the installation of a new traffic signal on NY 25 Middle County Road. Our wastewater engineering services included the engineering design of new gravity sewers, grease trap, pumping station, and force main connection to an existing “dry” force main that was installed under a previous project in anticipation of future development of this property.

Hayduk Engineering received an award for our involvement on this project from Long Island Business News in 2021 under the category of Best Assisted Living Project as part of the annual Real Estate, Architecture, and Engineering awards program for LIBN.
