Stephen A. Hayduk, P.E.
Mr. Hayduk has over 17 years of experience in water/wastewater engineering, stormwater management, civil/site engineering, transportation engineering, and construction administration services. His typical projects include residential, commercial, and industrial development, wastewater treatment facilities, pumping stations and force mains, sewer collection systems, storm drainage systems, water distribution systems, railroads and railroad facilities, and highways and bridges. Mr. Hayduk was an adjunct professor at Stony Brook University for CIV 210 Land Surveying where he was responsible for teaching students the fundamentals of surveying in both lectures and field exercises. Mr. Hayduk has a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering Technology from Rochester Institute of Technology and is a licensed Professional Engineer in the States of New York and Connecticut.
His professional honors include receiving the 2018 Young Engineer of the Year Award from NYSSPE – Long Island Chapter, the 2019 Rising Star Award from NYWEA Long Island Chapter, the Long Island Business News 2021 40 Under 40 business leaders, and the 2016 Associate Appreciation Award from the Long Island Builder’s Institute . Mr. Hayduk is an active member in many local professional organizations, including the New York State Society of Professional Engineers Long Island Chapter where he is on the Board of Directors, the Long Island Builders Institute where he is on the Associate Council and many committees, and the New York Water Environment Association Long Island Chapter where he was the Chair of the Young Operators and Professionals Committee from 2017-2019 and is currently a Board Director.
Mr. Hayduk is a Principal of Hayduk Engineering and the Chief Engineer, responsible for overseeing the engineering and inspection operations of the firm and managing many other aspects of the business.
