Sr. Wastewater Engineer

Hayduk Engineering, LLC is expanding its Water and Wastewater Engineering Division. We are seeking a highly motivated Sr. Wastewater Engineer with a minimum of 10 years of experience in designing and managing wastewater related engineering projects on Long Island and in the NYC Metro Area. Experience in Nassau and Suffolk Counties is preferred. Typical projects will include sewer collection systems, pumping stations, and wastewater treatment facilities. Work will include preparation and/or overseeing preparation of evaluation studies, engineering design reports, design plans, specifications, cost estimates, operation and maintenance manuals, and engineering during construction services.
We are seeking a self-starting team player with excellent written and verbal communications skills who can successfully handle managing multiple assignments at the same time. A Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent and a New York State Professional Engineer’s license is required. Individuals must be experienced in the use of AutoCAD/Civil 3D. Candidates must have experience in successfully managing other staff members, tracking project schedules, and tracking budgets to maintain compliance with client and company goals.
